About
IEEE WIE MAS AG’s objective is to support the recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines on a global scale. We envision a dynamic community where both IEEE women and men harness their diverse talents to drive innovation for the benefit of humanity.
IEEE WIE MAS Strives To:
- Assist in the establishment of new IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Groups and provide ongoing support for their activities.
- Acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in IEEE WIE MAS International Women’s day celebration.
- Coordinate workshops at major technical conferences to foster networking and encourage membership in IEEE WIE.
- Advocate for women in leadership roles within IEEE governance and promote career advancement opportunities for women in the profession.
- Champion the advancement of women to higher IEEE membership grades, including Senior Member and Fellow.
- Spearhead the development of programs and activities aimed at promoting the entry into and retention of women in engineering programs.
