IEEE LMAG is a group of senior IEEE members (senior in terms of years of IEEE membership) who meet the criteria that the No.of years of IEEE membership plus the members age should total to 100 and above. Thus potentially, the LMAG members are very senior professionals with decades of rich technical, academic and managerial experience.

LMAG of Madras Section was formed recently in Dec 2019 and started under the founding chair Mr.C.R Sasi, an IEEE veteran, and who had held different positions in Madras Section. The pandemic in the infant years of LMAG, limited the activities of LMAG in 2020 and 2021.

LMAG of Madras Section as on 2022 has 37 members who are leaders in their professional fields. There are 3 Life Fellows, 22 Life Senior members and 12 Life members. The list of members ( to provide a link to an excel file list of LMAG members )
LMAG in coordination with IEEE Madras Section and Societies will be contributing to IEEE community and society at large through

• Mentoring program
• Technical guide for student projects and humanitarian projects
• STEM activities with schools in community
