Dear IEEE Members,

I thank everyone for your great support and for having confidence in me and my new team of office bearers. I thank IEEE , RE10, IEEE Madras Section for believing in me and providing this magnificent opportunity.

IEEE, an organization dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity, is the world’s largest technical professional society. Its purpose is enhance the field of electro technology .The IEEE  is a technical, professional association with over 426,000 members in more than 160 countries.

Being a Senior Member in IEEE I collectively have 25 years of teaching experience, in which  almost two decades of experience in Research and Development. I have been actively engaged and have published more than 150 research papers  11 book chapters, 7 patents published and 659 Citations. To my credit 13 Ph.D scholars completed their doctoral degree under my supervision. Apart from my academia my specific contributions towards IEEE includes motivating IEEE members to actively participate in IEEE xtreme15.0 with 138 teams. Have attended fourth international Conference on computing and communication technologies.

Student branches, student branch chapters, have evolved enormously in recent years and students from various branches are actively volunteering in various events. They are the strength and essence of an IEEE section. Our Madras Section will provide constant support and motivation thus guiding them to a better tomorrow.

IEEE is a platform where we join together and collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow. This year we have planned to Being the Chairman of  IEEE Madras Section . I vouch to make every effort to function efficiently and collaborate through volunteers to scale up Madras Section to a next level.
