IEEE Control System Society – Madras section

 IEEE Control System Society under IEEE Madras section was formally inaugurated on 12^th Oct 2012.  Prof.Dr.T.Thyagarajan Past Chair, IEEE Madras section is the founder Chairman of this society (2012- 2015).

Since, its inauguration IEEE CSS under Madras section, regularly organizes various Technical Seminars/Lectures/Workshop in the field of Control Systems.

In the year end of 2015, as per the bye laws of the society the nomination committee called for nominations for the office bearers for the IEEE CSS for the year 2016-2017. Accordingly the following, New Officer Bearers have taken charge from Feb 2016 for the IEEE CSS  under Madras section.

 The activities organized/conducted by IEEE Control System Society are given below:

• Technical Lecture on “IEEE Controller Tuning for Non Linear Systems held on 12/7/2016, by I.Thirunavukarasu, Manipal university, Karnataka at AMACE.

• Technical Lecture on “IEEE Awareness, Resources and Membership Benefits” and “Research Opportunities in Control Systems” by R.Hariprakash, Chairman IEEE CSS at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Meenakshi University, Mangadu held on 30^th March 2016.

• Two day Workshop and Hands on Training on Control Systems –Real Time Application Jointly Sponsored and Organized by IEEE India Council and IEEE Madras Section held on 21- 22 Nov 2014.                             

• One day Technical Seminar on “Inverse kinematics and control of serial robots” By Badhopadhyay, IIT Madras held on 5^th Dec 2014.

• Organized a one day workshop on “GET WIRED TO THE WIRELESS WORLD”, at Rajam Hall, MIT Campus, Anna University held on 6^th Feb 2013.

• Organized Technical Lecture on “Auto Tuned PI Virtual Instrumentation Corrosion Controller” by J.Gopalakrishnan, GAIL, Ujjain on 1/2/2013 at IEEE Madras section.

• Organized Technical Lecture on “ Do Engineering – Preparing Students to Design Cyber Physical System” by Shekar Sharath, National Instruments, Texas USA held at IEEE Madras section on 2^nd September 2013

• Organized Technical Lecture on “Wireless Monitoring & Control in Process Industries” by D.Sundarasekaran, Madras Fertilizers Limited, at IEEE Madras section on 23^rd August 2013.

• Organized Technical Lecture on “CRoMe (Controls, Robotics and Mechatronics ) by Soalikutty Dhanabal, Academic Manager, National Instruments held on 20^th Oct 2012 at Alumini Hall, Anna university Chennai.

• Organized The Educators Day Activities in association with National Instruments NI, ON 17-18 TH Oct 2012, at Chennai Trade Centre.
